For lack of better options, Eliza Bradley’s forced to take a job with a paranormal magazine. And look her assignment is to find a werewolf in Fairbanks, Alaska that’s attacking people. A werewolf of all things, what about her credibility? When Hunter McCall finds out Eliza’s companion is her co-worker and not her boyfriend, he decides he’s very interested and chastises himself for not asking her to join him.

When she’s uncertain about her source’s sanity, Eliza talks to the police and the chief refers her to zoologist, Dr. Hunter McCall, a professor at the university. Hunter’s more than happy to talk to Eliza when she tracks him down to the office but he can’t tell her the truth. His brother calls about the attacks and wonders aloud if another were is challenging Hunter for his territory and if he can help.

The rogue attacks Eliza and Hunter has no choice but to save her in his wolf form which causes an uncomfortable situation. This quick read hit all the basics but felt a bit rushed in places, especially the romance and the mystery pieces. The romance re-defined speed dating and one of the suspects confessed when they looked at him.
