Jace by Sarah McCarty

jace

This outing picks up as Jared ended. Vampire shifter Jace Johnson and his friend wolf shifter Derek are inside the Sanctuary enclave searching for Jace’s secret and forbidden mate, wolf shifter Miri while his family and more friends hold off the sanctuary forces. When they find Miri, she’s in a battle for her life Miri sets her sights on the obstacle between them and lets Jace know they have a child to save.

After Sanctuary’s team is beaten back, the trio make to escape and Derek’s mating instinct kicked in hard for a trapped human on their route. As if being parted a year wasn’t issue enough, Jared and Miri’s new reality is they’re no longer a new secretly mated vampire/were pair with only hope ahead of them. Their 5 month old daughter, Faith’s hidden and theoretically defenseless in the human community.

On the way to safety, Jace flexed all his hero muscles to help traumatized, broken and disparate, Miri be strong enough to take their next steps. As family and friends help the parents search it becomes apparent they may be racing the Sanctuary vampires to reach Faith. This installment is the best to date in this reader’s opinion with excitement, romance drama and adventure in the read.
